Had a nice snowstorm today.  Maybe 7 or 8 inches in NYC.  I love the snow.  Love being out in the snow, driving in the snow, playing in the snow, digging out of the snow, etc.  My kids both had snow days, but my office was open.  So, I trudged into work in the snow. [...]

What a great day.  And long. 4:31:26. While I missed 4:30, I'm still very satisfied with the run.  It was great.  I'll write a full report later.  It was close up until mile 23 or so.  I had some knee pain and ended up running the last few miles more at 12 pace than 11-11:30, and that was the difference!

New York City Marathon kicks off in 15 hours.  Getting nervous about the race now.  Not nervous about the distance, or my ability to finish it.  This is my 9th marathon, and I know I can cover the distance.  I'm nervous about my ability to finish in 4:30.  It will not be easy.  The stars [...]
